I saw this painting in my head and immediately fell in love with it, but was very resistant to do it. New techniques, trial and error period, physically intensive, and expensive to make. Wrestled with myself lots and decided to just go for it. I ended up spending most of this week just sitting on the floor & staring at my test samples, wondering if this was the right move. I don’t know why but I don’t seem to be happy with myself unless I’m pushing my limits. But the resulting art is always worth it, and this piece is finally starting to shape beautifully. To all my collectors thanks for your patience. Promise it’s always worth it in the end 🖤⁠
